With Halloween’s recent rise in popularity on social media, Hylink needed to find a way to raise brand awareness of TCL while making the brand relevant to a global audience.
The art team designed a series of Halloween themed poll posts featuring hand-drawn images of the most popular and terrifying monsters (Frankenstein, Dracula, a ghost, and a witch) as the “victims” of their own worst fears. For the first set of posts, the Hylink team created each monsters’ unique living room and depicted their worst fears on a TCL television, giving social media users the chance to guess the identity of each monster. The second set of posts, added each monster to their respective rooms, their horrified expressions communicating the idea that TCL television image quality is “scary good.”
